Lighter than a spiked shoe, quieter on a cart path, and there is nothing to replace when the spikes wear down, because there are no spikes.
The trade-off is honest: on a steep wet lie in the early morning you will feel the difference. For the majority of rounds played here in the middle of the day, you will not.
Good first golf shoe, and a good second pair for anyone who already owns spikes and is tired of changing footwear in the car park.
